IT ALL BEGAN WITH A BABY NAMED ZEEZEE
Zahra Zoe, aka ZeeZee was born with Down Syndrome & Atrioventricular Septal Defects (AVSD), which required open heart surgery at only 4 months old.
At first we were scared of her diagnoses, since we knew so little about Down Syndrome or congenital heart defects. Before she was born we were hesitant to tell people about the big change that was about to happen in our lives.
Once we spoke up, the support rained in from near & far. It turns out that when you talk to people, they care more than you might realize.
NOW WE ARE HERE TO TEACH OTHERS ABOUT DOWN SYNDROME & TO ENCOURAGE SIMPLE CONVERSATIONS THAT COULD CHANGE A LIFE.

WE BEGAN THE #DOWNWITHZEE CAMPAIGN TO BRING AWARENESS TO DOWN SYNDROME & TO ADVOCATE FOR HUMANITY- because we are all more alike than different.
While our tagline seems to pay tribute to one child, for us, Zee actually represents the masses.
